I haven‘t read this yet, but I love the cover!
I really wasn‘t sure about this book when I started reading it, but I‘ve loved Karole Cozzo‘s other books so I kept reading. I‘m so glad that I did. If you‘re into the whole Disney World thing, you‘ll probably love this book. (Of course it‘s not Disney World but Enchanted Dominion in this book.)
I could hardly put this book down. I kind of knew what was going on early in the book but it didn't dampen the suspense at all. Kate Burkholder is like one of those characters in a teen slasher movie. I'm yelling "Kate, don't go in there alone!" But she always does! ?
This book was edgy and full of triggers, but I liked it and am interested in reading the next in the series, The Secret.
I really enjoyed this book and hope that Marcie R Rendon will write more books with Cash and Sheriff Wheaton. Cash is a 19 year old Indian girl who has had to grow up fast. Sheriff Wheaton has always kept an eye on her and knows of the special gift she has. When an Indian man is found dead Cash's gift leads her in the direction to find his killers.
I like reading novels where I learn about different cultures. Iris is an American with Indian parents. She lives a very privileged life in America but doesn't realize it may not be the life she wants until she gets stranded in India.
I just loved this book. I really like Fredrik Backman's style of writing and I love how his characters.
I was really planning to get into this at lunch today but my 8 year old granddaughter keeps texting me. She's too cute to resist! ❤️
Visiting my daughter in Colorado. I made her take me to the Tattered Cover. 😊❤️
Holy crap! My book just threw me for a loop and my lunch hour is over. They should allow special leave for when you're at a really good part in your book!
I loved this book! I'm a 50 year old white woman but the way Renee Watson wrote this book I could totally feel the main character's anguish as she tried to find her place in a world that wasn't always accepting her. I totally recommend this book!
I loved this book! I loved the characters and the fact that the main character loved books was just a plus! A lot of stuff in the book was super serious but there was enough humor to balance it out so that I didn't feel overwhelmed by the seriousness.
Finished this at lunchtime. Loved it! Great story about how women had to change in order to live during World War II.
It's great to see so many library posts! I work in a public library and we depend on the community to checkout our materials and attend our programs so our stats stay up and we get funding! Thank you library customers! 😊🤓 📚 📚
Loved this book! It had me on edge most of the way through. I was at this really intense part and my husband sneezed in the next room and I just about jumped out of my skin!
This was a really strange read to me. I really liked the story, but the writing style was like nothing I've ever seen. Long, long paragraphs full of dialogue but without quotation marks so that I had to really concentrate to understand who was saying what. I'm rating this book a "pick" because of the story.
This is one of those books where you think "whoa, what just happened".
This book has a ton of triggers so beware, but I really liked it. I originally chose it because I had read that the author was from my area. I fell in love with the main character and wanted to be able to save her from all her troubles, but as a reader I was just along for the very bumpy ride.
That moment when you're reading your book and it suddenly isn't making sense and you look down to see that it just went from page 88 to page 105. 🤦🏻♀️😕
I'm only on page 65, but I'm already loving this book!
I'm starting the year off with these books checked out and ready to read! I'm sure my faithful dog, Bernie, will be beside me sleeping for much of it! 🥂🎉
This book is pretty dark to be reading at Christmas time but it's so good I can hardly put it down. I've got tons to do today but maybe tomorrow night I can't start reading a lighter book my daughter recommended! 🎄
I loved this book! I hope Melina Marchetta writes some more books with Bish Ortley in them. His conversations with his daughter,Bee, reminded me of conversations I've had with my own teenage daughter. 🙂
This is #8 in the Joe O'Loughlin series and may be the best yet! I lost total track of time reading this book at lunch and was late, but it was so worth it! If you haven't read Michael Robotham go check him out. This series probably does need to be read in order to understand everything.
