I am awful at continuing series, my tbr can back me up. So, it probably says something about a book if I continue on after the original trilogy. I loved the new POVs and the different perspectives they added, especially Lyria.

I read this book earlier this month (before starting Litsy) and as January comes to a close I can't help but realize I have thought about this series everyday. It's truly lovely. If you enjoy magical realism, folktales, and awesome female characters, you should give this series a read.
I love everything Sarah Anderson. I enjoy how her collections incorporate advice and her own experiences. While I found the previous collection more relatable to my own experience with anxiety, I still loved this one. She focuses in on what it's like to be an artist today and how it feels to be criticized on the Internet.

This had lots of potential. Unfortunately the characters were not as well developed as I would like. There were some wonderful moments but did not live up to the hype.
