Currently about halfway through this. Wasn‘t sure I was going to like it, but so far loving it.

Went into this book rather cautiously. As a Christian I wasn‘t sure what to think about a book where Jesus had a wife. I had to tell myself over and over it‘s fiction, it‘s fiction. Some of it was hard to take as plausible , other parts Kidd nailed it! Anna being who she was meant society wasn‘t going to tell her what to do, and I appreciated that. This book hooked me in at the beginning. After a while it was harder for me to stay focused because it was building a lot of details which I later realized were very necessary. Amanda‘s story hurts my heart, loved Lizzie and Sam and Zach .....WTH?? Got to page 240 (if ya know ya know) and couldn‘t put it down! Wow! Such a good story. #May #bookofthemonth #kimberlymcreight
