This book was a huge disappointment for me. It's probably not completely the books fault, I read it in the few days after coming home from having a stillbirth. I was wanting escape and I suppose it delivered in that area.

But I just feel like the essence of the first three novels was not in Betrayals.

I don't have a super artsy picture of Ship of Magic because the Kindle wouldn't show the cover. But holy mackerel. I didn't think it possible, but Liveship Traders might surpass my love for the Farseer trilogy. Excited to start The Mad Ship.

This was my first short story collection, and boy was it weird! I really did enjoy the book, but some stories were just really out there. I will definitely check out more of her work.

Ever since I finished the Farseer Trilogy a few months ago I've been in such a reading funk! I highly HIGHLY recommend Robin Hobb if you love fantasy.

I've been craving science fiction AND a bit of romance! Excited to dig into this book!
