As usual with Jodi Picoult, a page turner with a twist. This seemed a very apt read given current events, and definitely gave me lots to think about.

While the plot, and indeed characters were interesting, I found the narrative voice so off putting that I really struggled to read this book. I didn't connect strongly enough with any of the characters, and the plot wasn't exciting enough to make up for the characters.
My book of the year so far - an absolutely brilliant modern reworking of Pride & Prejudice, which stands alone as a great book in its own right, and also made me love P&P all over again. I really loved her portrayal of some of the minor characters, and the witty take on modern life was fab!
