I saw a blurb in a magazine that this was on a must-read list for summer reading. I gave up on page 263. I hoped for more New York City scenes. It served up far-fetched characters- especially female- that were not believable nor interesting.

I listened to this book. I thoroughly enjoyed, and the audio did not disappoint. Rushdie wove beautiful literary elements and references.
Somewhat interesting; however, I found myself distracted by the side notes regarding how others remembered certain events. It is Westover‘s memoir- not the others.
