Been loving the juxtaposition of a Victorian girls' school coming-of-age story, and female empowerment, with supernatural magic. Beautiful, poignant, and very well narrated for the audiobook.

Enjoy a sarcastic female character who knows her own faults. Each supporting character has a rich history and inner turmoil to overcome, and adds to the story well. Thought this was a standalone novel, but excited to see this is only the first in a series!

Well written, well read by audio book, and an important part of the Shadowhunter Chronicles!

Off to read a script style Harry Porter novel, but so fun to pick back up where the Deathly Hallows epilogue left off!
