A good adventure but out of all the Richard Hannay books I have read, my least favourite. I'm afraid the endless coincidences and the fantastical plot were a little frustrating at times. However, Buchan certainly knows how to hook you and after a slow start from halfway through I had to keep reading until the end. All in all a fairly enjoyable book for a Sunday afternoon.
