I did not finish 1984, and instead started a new book. I have read many books about the holocaust including Anne Franks Diary, but reading about a library in Auschwitz changed my understanding of concentration camps, and so far has been fascinating. If you are interested in learning about the holocaust, I recommend this book because it gives a very interesting perspective.

Recently I have been reading 1984 by George Orwell. A conflict presented in the book that I think is a real world problem we suffer today is privacy. Firstly, the book touches on government surveillance. With more cameras than ever and listening devices like Alexa, we are very prone to government surveillance. Another conflict is censorship. In the real world, governments have also been controlling social media in order to hide things.

Recently I've been reviewing the calculus textbook for my AP exam coming up. The author uses bold text for titles, examples, and visuals to help learners understand the content. Stewart also includes review exercises to help learners revisit subjects they may have forgotten. In all, James Stewart's Calculus is very helpful for learning calculus.

When I was in 7th grade I read Animal Farm by George Orwell. While I forgot about the author, Svet's presentation on 1984 re-sparked my interest in the author. I thought it was interesting how the story very well predicts the world we live in today, a world of surveillance, and decreasing privacy each year. I also like his story telling skills, and plan on reading the book at some point.

While the Nazis are the main antagonist in Art Spiegelman's Maus, its arguable that the other antagonist is the holocaust survivor's mental health. Afterwards he struggles to live a happy meaningful life do to all the ways he was scared from his experiences in concentration camp.

I am reading the Spanish version of The Hate U Give. The main conflicts in the story is Star's urge to hide her identity in her “two worlds“ and the police brutality faced by Khalil. Through her character arc, Star learns that hiding her identity in her school isn't necessarily, and makes friends that except her for who she is.

Mark Manson gives a controversial view on how to live a good life. He also provides many stories and relatable experiences that make you think twice about how you can control certain situations. Its also helpful in the act of building self awareness. Its not like most books you will read. I highly reccommend to all.

This book is a great example of american literature. It highlights the coexistence of good and evil, along with themes such as class, race, and morality. Harper lee also suggests the importance of equality, empathy, and justice. It is set in Alabama in the 1930s, and is told from a young girl named Scout . Her father, Atticus , is a lawyer defending a black man, Tom Robinson, who has been falsely accused of a crime. I highly recommend this book
