Part 2

From the absolute power the regime have over the people, (e.g having a painting of the leader in every house and having to take care of that painting with one's life.) To public hanging and executions of people in the middle of the street, not caring children are watching. Also, the brainwashing and insanely driven propaganda against the USA and mistical stories of the leader. This was a door to the unknown world that we call North Korea.

Part 1

Just heard/read the last part of the book called "The girl with seven names." Incredible book that show us the hardship she has to face in not only in North Korea, but a long her journey. We get to see the hidden places that we know has North Korea and the brutality and the life North Koreans have to suffer each day.
