Finally finished Pillars of the Earth. It only took me about a month and a half. I was excited to start my next book!

I bought this book five years ago after our trip to Mount Rushmore. I've been anxious to go back so I moved it to the top of my reading pile.

A staple. We read it at least once a week for the past four years.

This was the book that got me back into reading after a long hiatus. That being said, I had a hard time liking the main character. But it definitely had me looking for another historical fiction read.

I'm only about a decade behind the rest of the world reading this but enjoying it so far!
