After defeating Valentine Clary starts packing for her trip to Idris, the Shadowhunter home country. Jace doesn‘t want Clary to go because he dreads the thought of something happening to her. Jace decides to ask Simon to try and persuade her into not going but it doesn‘t work. While they are in Idris Valentine shows up declaring war against the Clave. Valentine has all the Mortal Instruments now. How will he use them? And against what?

Cfischbuch Sounds like the series has you hooked. Way to go! I know that they are long. So happy and proud that you‘re still reading. Really missing you guys. 5y

Clary just wants her life to go back to the way it was. She wishes that she hadn‘t learned the truth about what and who she really was. Jace has been accused of siding with Valentine and stole the Soul Sword. Could Jace be capable of such a thing?

Clary a 16 year old girl just wants to celebrate her birthday and find her true self. But when she steps into a club called Pandemonium she starts to see things that only she can see. She doesn‘t know that she has the sight. After going to the club she meets new people and learns many new things that will change her life forever. “Haven‘t you heard? All the Legends are true.” I really like the books but I personally like the tv show more.

Cfischbuch This isn‘t my typical style of book, but I did enjoy it ( I didn‘t continue with the rest of the series though). I remember it had quite a lot of action. What‘s your take so far? Have you seen the made for tv series? 5y
MaddyLaing_11 @Cfischbuch I have actually been enjoying the books so far but I personally like the tv series better. 5y
MrsBabki I just got there for my classroom library. I should read the first one - I didn‘t even know there was a tv series! 5y

This was honestly one of my all time favourite books. If you like futuristic books, this is something you‘ll enjoy. To compare this book to something I would say that it‘s similar to books like The Hunger Games or the Divergent series.

MrsBabki Miss you guys! Two more sleeps and the fun begins again! 5y

It‘s time for thirteen year old Ken to escape London and the battle of WWII. He boards a ship sailing for Canada and thinks all is well until one night the ship is torpedoed by the Nazi‘s. Ken had been assigned to lifeboat eight but when he goes looking for it, it‘s gone. Ken has to get onto lifeboat twelve with five other boys. Will they survive or has the worst yet to come. Continues in comments.

MaddyLaing_11 If you like books about war, survival, and have suspense in them this is the book for you. The genre of this book is historical fiction, it‘s deep in the past and is not quite a true story. (edited) 5y
MissYaremcio This looks like such a good book! Thanks for the review Madison! 5y

Wills brother Shawn has just been killed, he was shot. Will wants to get revenge on his brothers killer and has a pretty good idea of who it is. When he is on his way to get revenge he encounters old family and friends that should be dead. The flow of this book is like any other regular book. It‘s not to much like a poem

MissYaremcio Great review Madison! Make sure you include all elements of the assignment in your post, you were missing the recommendation. 5y

So far in the book we‘ve met two characters at a fair together and a group of other people don‘t like these two so they decide to beat them up but end up killing one of them. After we‘ve finished reading this part we start to get to know the main characters in the future. We learn about the people they have become and the phone calls they receive. I enjoy this book because it‘s realistic but not at the same time. The tome is confident but serious.

MissYaremcio Very nicely done Madison! I am impressed! You were just missing the recommendation part of your review! 5y
