I can't say it enough, but this book needs to be read. It may not be the sort of genre or characters you love, but I gave this book a chance even though I'm not a fan of contemporary lit. The perspectives approached in this story are too valuable to pass up on. It's not the easiest story to get through, it's a heartbreaking one, but it's the best kind in my opinion.
