The way in which Delaney discusses this interactions without holding stigma towards any of them is really beautiful to me. There is a lot of stigma and talk around queer men and hook up culture and sexual intimacy and etc. that make me feel uncomfortable with myself I guess. But he is so honest and transparent makes it viewable in a lens not so foregin but simply different.

Read for a research paper about Mary Kawena Pukui and her significance to Hawaiian culture preservation. These stories were so interesting and amazing. Loved it!

This was such a heart touching book. Was not expecting this type of book, but was pleasantly surprised. It really is a beautiful story.

My girlfriend and her father said this was a “MUST READ,” so of course I read it. I was in no way prepared for how brilliant of a story it truly was. There was never a dull moment. I was craving more every second. It is phenomenal and is absolutely a must read!!
