My Curiosity through this story builds to be hefty as the author justifies how sufficient someone can teach a language in five days. The main character, Michael Thomas, was teaching students who found it usual to fail languages to gain five years worth of knowledge in five days. He made his lessons very interesting the way he taught especially how he told all his students to remove there knowledge from before an restart.

The House on Mango Street | Sandra Cisneros

When she thinks to herself in her father Language, she knows sons and daughters don't leave their parents' house until they marry. When she thinks in English, she knows she should've been on her own since eighteen.
This can be relatable for many young adults when it comes to the stressful judgment point of the age to be left on your own. Many places have different cultures on this act, while others let you be.

In this book I made connections with the main character Hazel. When she is travelling to Amsterdam many people glances at her for the fact that she has to carry a oxygen tank wherever she goes, this relates to her best friend on a wheelchair as well. I can make this connection with real life experiences whereas when you have a new hairstyle and you don‘t want to be judge for it not looking appealing.

Augustus confessed his feelings for Hazel, although Hazel has the same feelings for him, she doesn't know how to express them. In her eyes his soul was pure and he held a strong energy that made her smile, this is what made her make a move to rest on his shoulder while watching a movie on the airplane.

This author used terms that created scenes in my head where I was able to feel the characters emotion. The way they composed the attributes of these characters in text gave me a classic identification of the personalities they have. Many characters in the story use words like generally, minimize, under oxygenated and etc. These tell me there more advanced and smart in the english language, this gave me the predictability of their appearance 11/16-11/20

Non-Fiction: There were a lot of topic in this novel familiar to me. I can feel the emotions these young adults discussing about what major events had happened in there life. Not only did these events change the way people viewed them but it also changed the way they feel. This basically means when people find out your hurt in anyway they would often care for you more and compliment you but when you feeling good they often don't.10/2020/28

If the story were to be in a different time like 1800 the treatment for the cancer characters in my book will face more fear of surviving with limit treatment. It would also be similar if these character were to be living in a different country. Not every country has the same education so treatment in Canada would obviously better in some places in Africa. In a result of this text the pov will change depending on the characters setting and time.

Hazel was diagnosed with cancer, which she ended up beating it but not too much was said in the story. For kids who are unique they tend to get more attention where people only do good for them because of their condition, which not all people like. This refers to a tragic event that happened to late chadwick boseman who had passed due to cancer. The whole world hadn't known of his diagnoses, reasons may vary, perhaps the world will show fake love.

the hate you give | Angie Thomas

I selected this book because it was one of the top read books by teenagers. I also read some summaries about the book that i seem to enjoy. this is what made me choose this book to read.
