#happy reading place I‘ve never done a hashtag before so correct me if I‘m wrong. This a book that got me back into reading. 40 pages in your already neck deep second guessing yourself. This is a book where you realize how easy it to love and trust your captors. Like many I felt impenetrable to Stockholm syndrome but, I was victim to it from just reading about someone in that scenario.

Kyle_MacKinnon Just from looking at the post I can tell I messed up the hashtag. 6y
Cfischbuch Sounds interesting. 6y

I have been posed with the task to evaluate whether the main character of this story is worthy of my friendship. March (the main character) has a good heart but, he does large scale robberies and heists. He is willing to give up his whole life for practically nothing. I don‘t doubt his overall character but, he is careless and reckless. Therefore I believe he is not worthy of my friendship.

Will_GH Interesting question, but why would you ask it if the character can't interact with you in such a way that develops into a relationship? Maybe if someone were to make an AI using the 'experiences' of the character, they'd be able to 'interact' with you, albeit in a mostly sensory-deprived manner. 6y

Pickpick

This is a book about four kids who steal or attempt to steal multiple precious moonstones on their own in one week. I don‘t think what hooked me on this book was the stealing and action. I think what hooked me was the emotional side to it. It has twists and turns, it just amazes me how brilliant and resilient these kids are.

Cfischbuch I like that you‘re seeing the deeper story. 6y

This is an example of a pun. Gabe had to overcome his figurative fire inside him, and his literal fire demon inside him that tried to kill him.

I‘m just embracing my nerdy side reading a science encyclopaedia. It focuses mainly on physical and life sciences. That includes physics, chemistry, biology, and geology. Did you know that if you can measure quarks (which is what the nucleus of an atom is made out of) you can tell the future! The only problem is measuring it changes it‘s kind of like light.

Will_GH If you found a way to measure it, I want 10%. Anyway , the weird thing about quarks is that there might be a way to measure it *indirectly*, with the smallest margin known to mankind, it might be *just* right. Or I could be totally wrong. Who knows? 6y
Kyle_MacKinnon Yeah, my own theory I developed is to measure it indirectly by smashing the particles together using the LHC below its top speed almost breaking the gluons and analyzing their movements. 6y
Kyle_MacKinnon Dude, I just watched a ten minute video on string theory and it feels like me fuzzy little head is about to explode! 6y

MrsBabki I think you two could have a sitcom! I love this! 6y
Will_GH I've been thinking about making several different types of podcasts... From history to memes to economics... Oh gosh. With several different people, too. 6y
Kyle_MacKinnon I think I could be that guy with the dreamy deep voice. 6y

I just picked up this book haven‘t read a page yet though. I think I might need to reread the other books though. I have just been reading so many other books I forgot to complete the series.

Kyle_MacKinnon I just made it through the prologue it made no sense at all. My sensible half tells me to reread, but my lazy side says to read it and hope for the best. 6y
MrsBabki Oh my heart, you made me laugh out loud. Let me know how it goes! 6y
Kyle_MacKinnon 61 pages in and I figured it out. The author has a way of summing up the first two books in a very subtle way. He uses a memorable scenario in a past book to help the reader remember. 6y
Kyle_MacKinnon This is one of the first books I read as a writer and not as a reader. I kept on pointing out em dashes and different sentence types. 6y

Pickpick

It was less action packed, but it was more emotional, and scary. It really tugged at my heart strings. At the end Herb‘s letter almost made me cry. “Adam if you are reading this it means I‘m dead. Not gone or lost or off to a better place. I didn‘t have the time to settle down with a wife and raise kids. If I ever had a son, though, I could have only hoped he would have been like you. With great respect, hope, and love, Herb.” That was a small bit

Will_GH The book was amazing and so very emotional 6y

At first it was about surviving natural causes now it‘s about surviving each other. One moment it‘s a teenage love story the next your neck deep in action. The moment to which this photo represents is when eden mills destroys the bridge that the division‘s troops are on. My mind was racing it almost felt like I was there

Will_GH I really blowns your mind, doesn't it? 6y
MrsBabki Ahhhhhhh, you‘re hilarious. That is how I felt in the book Legend - there is a moment in the story that took my breath away. 6y

It was a great book. The second book in a three book series. There was a lot less action and a lot more drama. There was a lot of sleepless nights and blood shot eyes. I couldn‘t‘ put the book down. Before I knew it it was 10 o‘clock.

MrsBabki Get some sleep! 6y
