I had to read this for a book club. On the surface it seems like a good mystery but, sadly it is not. I will preface this by saying that the identity of the killer was spoiled for me by reading a review. However, I feel that is was painfully obvious who it was. For a serial killer book it was very vanilla.

All in all an OK book. I enjoyed how the story was told by Death. It had some really great lines. It was incredibly bittersweet. I don't really know how to describe it. Was it good? Yes. Is it a must read? Not necessarily. But, not bad by any means.

Good book. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I will say that I listened to it rather than read it. I thought about the characters and the story while I wasn't "reading". I would recommend it to people who like a good love story w/ adventure added in.

It was much like the first book. (I mean, go figure, it's a series) if you enjoyed the first one you'll enjoy this one. I was kind of on the fence with the first one but, I liked this one more. It's a quick, easy read so it's worth a try.

This book was "ok". I liked the premiss but, it wasn't executed in the best way. It was interesting enough to keep attention and it did get better as it went. The twist was surprising and thrown together at the same time. It wasn't a bad book by any means, it just wasn't a great one either.

I would recommend this book. I'm not going to lie. It was very sad; mostly sad. The two female characters were strong, which is always nice. Definitely shined a light on the horrors of war. Very sad yet, very good!

At least in this weather their urine would freeze in the barrel and not slosh all over.

Good book. Not what I had expected but, good. It's a love story. Good enough to make me want to read the 2nd one.

Such a good book. I enjoyed that this book wasn't predictable. I felt that it led to a very honest, realistic story. As if you were listening to someone tell you a story of people they once knew.

I listened to this one on audiobook. Listening to a book read by the author is always fun. That being said I thought this book was hilarious. A quick listen/read.

I suffered through this book hoping it would get better. It never did!! It's neither deep nor life changing. It wasn't even enjoyable. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.
