I've heard amazing things about this book, so excited I've finally got my hands on it!

Just picked this up from my local thrift store 😍can't wait to pick it up!

I really loved this book. I don't read a lot of historical fiction, but this book pulled me in and didn't let go. Surprisingly this was my first time reading it, and it was so complex and interesting. I loved how death was the narrator and how he provided insight into the situation and jumped around a little. I also loved reading the parts that Leisel wrote compared to what Death said about the events.
