24- a recommendation from my therapist, and proved just what I needed! Something to come back to over time to extract more nuggets of wisdom! Made up of personal anecdotes that can be consumed in short windows over time or all at once.
23- an enjoyable listen that‘s available on Hoopla from my local library!
22 - This is a re-read, I bought it in 2015 and absolutely devoured it! After coming out of my own tumultuous, emotionally abusive relationship I could empathize in a way with how Holly was feeling while she was with Hef and living on the mansion. The book ends on a hopeful note, that we are resilient and can come through things stronger and wiser!
21 - Interesting listen! Morley has done a ton of research and references the peer-reviewed articles through this book. Available on Hoopla through my local library!
20 - This is where This Is and Only One series started, I read them out of order, but it was nice to go back and hear the parents‘ story
19 - another series by Natasha Madison. I‘ll broaden my horizons soon, but for now I‘m enjoying bingeing these series!
16 - after having a break from this series I‘ve enjoyed coming back to this story!
17 - Only One Love - another good instalment!
14 - Tarot refresher from another perspective, came with my new tarot deck 😍 I like the layout and simplicity of this book to be really helpful in practical use.
13 - More personal anecdotes than actual “how-to” guide but enjoyable, quick read!
11 - Out of order! But listened to this on audio after reading the first bit in my physical copy. I like personal anecdotes in audiobook form as it feels more like the person is telling you their story in conversation. As expected it was not G-rated in the slightest but interesting nonetheless!
10 - Absolutely devoured the last of this book today! Once the ground work was laid it really used examples to illustrate the concepts discussed. Common complaint is that the “chart 8” in the book doesn‘t match the analysis, but is available on the author‘s website. Highly recommend for aspiring astrologers!
7-9 Continuation of my honeymoon audiobook listens. Only One Kiss, Only One Chance, and Only One Night. I like that the storyline expands on the original family of characters so you‘re already invested in from the This Is series. Still romantic and spicy!
3-6 I listened to this series on my honeymoon. Romance, spice, hockey, what more could a newlywed looking for a vacay read ask for? This is Crazy, This is Wild, This is Love, and This is Forever.
2-Aziz read his audiobook, which I so appreciate. The information was interesting but more for someone still single/dating. Was enjoyable!
5 - I loved this in audiobook form! Matthew‘s cadence in his speech made the storytelling that much more interesting and melodic all at once. His words tell of a grand adventure of his life so far. Highly recommend
4 - it‘s been many years since I‘ve devoured a Ken Follett novel, and this one did not disappoint. A great start to picking up more fiction this year!
3 - Third book finished of 2021. One that‘s full of insights and backstory to what the heck these astrologers are talking about and where the information came from. Again, one I will refer back to often!
2- Second book of 2021! One I will revisit over and over as a reference guide. Laid out in a way that‘s easy to digest.
1 - First book finished of many in 2021. Such a good breakdown of stories many of us have heard or read but missed the point or haven‘t taken a step back to look at the bigger picture. I recommend this to people of any faith, who have any questions stemming from biblical references. I know it‘s helped me to understand better!
