If you like deep, meaningful memoirs with well thought out stories and almost fantasy like real life events, then you would like the glass castle. The glass castle is a first person story with no thoughts from any other characters in the story. The Glass castle Jeanette Walls beautifully choreographs her words in a way that almost has a comedic tone. That makes you feel sympathy for Jeannette and almost pity for her and her dysfunctional family.

Jaxon69 In the glass castle Jeanette travels form place to place never really finding a home. When Jeanettes mom, Rose Mary, refuse government benefits and moves to a place called Welch and live with Jeanettes grandparents. The grandparents are very poor and old fashioned, they are also very racist and against a lot of modern world views. 3y
