Simultaneously very readable and deeply researched and thorough. Didn‘t just make me think about the jobs I‘ve worked in a new light but also about the entire structure of work in our society and how it could be different and better for everyone.

Took a bit to get into as it put the Roci crew in a passive role for the first part of the book, but it picked up well. One downside is Clarissa/Melba‘s arc, which gets pretty muddied by the end as she flip flops between what she wants to do; arguably it‘s a more realistic arc in that people don‘t always make concrete decisions right away but it felt a bit contrived at times. All in all a fun read and looking forward to reading the next one.
