While I really liked this book, it's a hard read if you're somebody who needs constant action to stay invested.

This book was intense from start to finish. Any fan of the original series should pick it up immediately. It gives you such incredibly insight into the villain origin story of a character who turns into a horrible person.

This book was definitely a hard read because of the issues it dealt with, but ultimately it was incredibly informative on an issue I wasn't well acquainted with.

This book was a really powerful portrayal of what life was like for people living in Germany at the time of WW2. It was gripping and heartbreaking.
