haven't read this book for ages. throught it'd be nice to read a bit of it every day.

the writing is beautiful. and the atmosphere is so well built up that makes you want to read through asap to find out what's really going on. though it's still ambiguous in the end, that gothic feel is nicely presented. for a reader that wants a clear ending, this story might fail to do that.
