My Story | Elizabeth Smart, Chris Stewart

Pickpick

My Story by Elizabeth Smart is the memoir of her kidnapping when she was fourteen years old. When removed from her home in Salt Lake City at knifepoint in the middle of the night, she was taken captive by a religious fanatic. She was then kept chained in a tent in the mountains for nine months, disguised and repeatedly raped. She recalls the fear she experienced after being told her family would be killed if she tried to escape.

Dakota.Palin If you like books that are suspenseful and powerful true stories I would recommend this book. Those who believe in the power of faith to provide strength and healing would also appreciate this book.

This book is written in first person and her personal revelation of this horrendous experience.

Swimsuit | James Patterson, Maxine Paetro

Mehso-so

Kim McDaniel's, a young supermodel disappears from the best hotel in Maui while at her photoshoot. There has been many cases of young girls disappearing in this area of Maui, most are never found. Kims parents get a phone call form her manager saying she's missing. Once Kims parents arrive in Maui they start searching for Kim. With no luck for days, they hire an Ex-Cop, Ben Hawkins who is on the search for Kim McDaniel's.

Dakota.Palin If you like books that are thrillers with a lot of suspense I would recommend The Swimsuit.
A recurring motif in The Swimsuit is throughout the book it tells you how many other girls have gone missing and when. There is a pattern to all the girls that have gone missing, such as the same times, same days, or a certain amount of years apart etc.
