The Fault In Our Stars follows the story of a young teen girl that soon discovers she suffering from thyroid cancer. On her journey, she finds herself falling for someone she never intended to. For a long time, she had been following a writer that‘s inspired her for a large chunk of her life, this is her most life changing event as what she imagined her role model to be is not even close.

Cristina.Sarmiento-Moreira If you like books that involve real-life struggles and adaptations to them, then you‘ll love this one. The point of view in the book is first person as Hazel demonstrates to the audience everything from her own thoughts, to what events are happening around her. She explains how she feels about suffering from her diagnosis and her experiences going through it. 2y
MissYaremcio Thanks for the review Cristina! I always feel like August is not quite like an actual teenage boy! 6/6 2y

Pickpick

Archie is a goofy, clumsy, funny teen who lives in Riverdale, a small town. Each comic contains just one of the silly events that taken in his life, all of which are comedic. From adventures to tragedy, Archie is always found near all his friends that always seem to make his adventures memorable.
If you like books that centre around comedic fiction, comic, classic teen shenanigans, this is the right book for you.

MissYaremcio Thanks for the review Cristina! I was just missing the theme and how it was established. 4/6 2y
Cristina.Sarmiento-Moreira The theme of the book is centred around friendship. Archie is never seen anyway from his friends and in fact, his friends often lead his adventures. Even when torn apart by a silly problem, amends are always made and stronger friendships are born. 2y
