Starting a book journal for #twenty21 and thought it would be fun to expand my horizons a little with a #goodreads #challenge. 🤩
4.5 / 5 🌟[possible spoilers]This book. I finished this on NYE and am STILL thinking about this story. I felt it was a beautiful story of what it means not only to be human but to be truly SENTIENT regardless of your make up, or another‘s understanding of the race/species. The only reason I didn‘t give a full 5 stars is because of the love story/sex scene. Don‘t get me wrong I love a good heart tug but WHEN APPROPRIATE & NOT FOR FLUFF PLEASE K THX

Really liking this one so far, some scenes are enough to give you nightmares though .... 😳
“Her breath is my heartbeat”. Bradley Luberto
Local talent can be very underrated. Reading the newest from my favorite local author Heidi Sprouse. I‘m ready for a trip back in time 😁
I was recommended the Prydain Chronicles by a coworker because I never read them as a kid. I‘m liking the story line. Very LOTR and TOAFK - esque.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this. JKR didn't write it, and you can tell, but you can tell she was part of it. I loved the storyline, the characters, how relationships were tested, how past and future collided. A beautiful, absolutely stunning work.
"Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home" ❤️⚡️
I couldn't read this, my mind kept wandering too much. But listening to this, oh it's absolute magic ✨
Relaxing by candlelight, with a strong cup of earl grey = perfection ❤️📖
This started out so slow I almost was going to quit, and then it took a complete 180. Another solid, thought provoking, heartfelt and beautiful novel.
I just had to share this. Getting snippets of the magical world that I grew up with still gets me as excited as that very first time I opened the pages of The Sorcerers Stone. I'll forever be a Potterhead, always ❤️⚡️
Got my signed copies of her two newest books, and a little sneak peak at the new sequel for another one of her series!!
After the emotional rollercoaster I took with Me Before You, I'm finally jumping into the sequel.
The story line was good enough, but I was very disappointed with the ending -- very anticlimactic. Should be interesting to see what the third one is like when it comes out.
Smutty Romance novellas, (my no longer secret) secret guilty pleasure ❤️
For an amateur author this book has a really good story line. Not only was I on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happened next but I found myself emotionally invested in the characters. It's also really cool to read a story based in your hometown 👍🏻
I haven't seen any of the show, I'm waiting until I finish the books, and I have to say I'm pretty much in love already 😍
"In public health, the linguistic disconnect between those providing information and those who need that information affects everyone from clinicians and patients to public health managers and policy makers" #nursing #WHO #languagebarriers
One of the most emotional books I've read in a long time. For something so heartfelt, raw and deep, this book really made me stop and think.
