Thank you so much Little Brown!

This was a great read. It took me a while because of life distractions but it was overall a great read. I cried and laughed and I also longed for an opportunity to have my own Homegoing. This book delves into the slave trade and how it tore families apart leaving generation after generation with no knowledge of our ancestors and our past. Although the story is fictional; there are many truths to be told here. I give this book 5 stars!

Over all I will give this book a flashing 4 stars. Only because I did not appreciate the ending for the Jackson family. I felt like there was not a far balance between the two families. I am probably biased but I feel that this book was a little biased too.

I did enjoy this book and it was a definite page turner.

Currently reading this book and I'm not sure what it is about it but I keep reading it. It's not that interesting but something makes me want to know what happens!
