so-soBertie fires Jeeves so he can continue to play the banjolele, and typical antics ensue. But the plot involves Wooster in blackface and a troupe of minstrels that are referred to using a racial slur. shows the casual racism that existed and was so much part of the plot the rest of the book lost its charm for me. If you're new to Jeeves don't start with this one. I still love Jeeves and will be continuing my #yearofjeeves in honor of my dad.
