Still only reading a few chapters a day of The Postcard so am not sure how I will do. The tagged book is short, The Batter of Life and Death is the 2nd in a series I‘ve been meaning to go back to, What the Dead Leave Behind is the beginning of a great sounding series and Marion Lane is a holdover from last month.
Hoping my reading mojo comes back soon.

pickMegan has a Ph.D. in American History and works at the Whitley-Moran Mansion. Charles Whitley who owned the mansion is from the year 1902 and was transported to 2018 while fixing a clock for his fiance. The two meet and.....the rest is the story.

pickI enjoyed this time travel holiday romance. Charles and Megan's story was so sweet and they brought out great qualities in each other. Her love of history and his love of the future made for a perfect match. Also the Christmas atmosphere in the small town was super festive yet relaxed and had a classic feeling. It really puts you in a holiday mood 🎄❄️💖
Spent the evening crafting and watching holiday shows. I watched 'A Timeless Christmas' which was just alright (I liked the book better 😉) while crocheting and decorating this Christmas tree for my mom. She loved the ones I made for myself last year and requested one of her own 🎄

August‘s book club pick!
Already seems like the heroine adjusted to modern life rather easily. I feel like now that she‘s back in her own time the action will get serious and read more like a story than a summary.
