Welcome to Litsy!

I‘ve been reading this in the mornings on and off for a few months now, and Cedric decided to keep me company today as I finished it up. He‘s not usually a fan of my morning poetry time since it doesn‘t involve playing with him, so it‘s always a treat when he shows up. It was very cool to see how Hughes both had a clear signature style, but also felt free to stray incredibly far from that style and try all sorts of experimental techniques.

Another fast read (mostly because I wouldn‘t put it down) filled with drama & entertainment. As with most sequels I was happy to be back in this world, but some of the surprise and delight at discovering that world had worn off so I wasn‘t quite as enthusiastic about this one. Cedric thought it was an excellent nap book though, he‘s definitely planning to nap through more of Foz‘s books in the future!
