This book gets mixed reviews but I liked it. And a big part of it is set on an island off Puerto Rico. Considering the theme (life, illness, death), it's a fairly lighthearted read. The MC is annoying at first but I thought she matured and grew through her experiences. #bookssetbythesea #septphotochallenge #somethinfgforsept

cajunsyd I agree with all of your comments. I did not like the main character much at the beginning but she grew on me. Overall, the book was just ok for me. I felt that at times it was very cliched and not super-creative. But I enjoyed it enough to want to read the outcome of her situation. On to the next one! 9y
