pickHannah Pittard‘s Visible Empire is astonishingly good, an examination of the impact of a plane crash in the 1960s that kills a large part of the Atlanta arts community (based on a true story). Despite its historical setting, the book is timely, shifting through multiple characters‘ perspectives to take on police brutality and racism. High recommendation!
