I haven't read this but it came out when I was in high school and working in my local public library. It was a really big deal as the fictional town in the book was based partly on my town, St. Marys. It's also based partly on Stratford, where I went to high school, and partly on Elora, near where I live now. And partly on Paris, which I have no claim to but isn't super far from me.
