Perfectly early Nora Roberts great read

Amber thinks she‘s just stopping in for a quick visit with her godmother. Then she is swept into the overhaul of Cranberry Stores and feels like she has finally found her home. Her meeting with Josh was hazardous (they fell into the river 🤪), but they still warm up to each other. I felt the ending was abrupt in this meander to getting to know the village, but well worth the read. I really like getting to know the characters of the villages.

Well, it‘s SNOWING, which seems like a mighty good excuse to tuck up in bed with my kittycorn lamp and a Courtney Milan novel. I got off to a slow start with THE EARL WHO ISN‘T thanks to a couple of busy days, but I‘m past the 50% mark and I hope I‘ve got enough momentum to finish it tomorrow. It‘s often very funny, despite some fraught circumstances on both leads‘ sides. I especially love how Andrew‘s little bro is extremely fifteen years old.

I'm going waaaay back to catch up on books I've been reading these last several months so I honestly don't remember many details about this book. But I do remember it was a 5 star read. Even though it's considered a romance book the romance scenes were few and far between and the 🌶 levels were low. Without spoiling the end I loved that the main character makes herself a priority over the sometimey men in her life. Self love for the win 🥰
