What Happened | Hillary Rodham Clinton
post image

#MarchMadness #PoliticalNonFiction - this is probably the most recent political book I‘ve read. I wasn‘t a huge Clinton fan but I liked Hillary a lot more after reading this - I felt like I knew so much more about her feelings through reading this book. Plus the whole election pretty much felt like a psychological thriller even from all the way over here in the UK so it kind of fits the theme!

MissAimz_55 I do agree that i liked Hilary a lot more after reading this book. And it also got me all wound up again about that election. 7y
Christine11 @MissAimz_55 Me too - I was so frustrated reading it - it was like the whole thing was happening again! 😝 7y

Pickpick

Factual evidence of high tech election theft in America. Actual convicted felons are selling us machines designed for easy hacking.

Not an easy book to get your hands on. If you happen upon it, check it out!

#photoadaynov16:
Taking a break today from photo a day- celebrating my ability to vote, my ability to vote for a woman, and crying. Lots of crying today.
In case you are wondering, Susan still gets mail.

queerbookreader I'm from and live in Rochester and I recently visited the Susan B. Anthony house this year! I wore my "vote" earrings that I got from there today when I went to vote. If you ever get the chance you should come up here and visit the house, it's wonderful ? 8y
BookishFeminist ❤️❤️❤️ I cried too and I suspect I will later as well. @lemonlime799 Susan B Anthony's house has been on my places to visit for a while now! 8y
queerbookreader @BookishFeminist It's a cool place! She was tight with Frederick Douglass too so there's some info about him there. I went on the house tour with my parents and a bunch of other women and I kept adding all these tidbits of info to what the guide was saying and she was like "how do you know so much stuff??" And my parents were like "so this is what you do all day??" lmao 8y

BookishFeminist @lemonlime799 😂😂😂 hey whatever works! It's been really interesting to hear about @becausetrains' work lately- he works for the National Park Service & his unit has been undergoing an extensive project to go through all of Frederick Douglass's things- there's some super cool stuff in there. I love Douglass & Anthony both. 😀 8y
queerbookreader @BookishFeminist Come to Rochester and visit both of their graves it's a super cool experience 8y
BookishFeminist @lemonlime799 Definitely plan on it! There are lots of other suffragists in that cemetery too. :) it'll be a fun trip once I make it up there. 8y
becausetrains @HotMessJess Susan and Frederick both would be crying too 😅 8y
HotMessJess @lemonlime799 since I can't make it out today, I wrote her a letter with my I voted sticker. @BookishFeminist I haven't stopped crying today! Just been so overwhelmed all day. 8y

Even if you are disappointed with the presidential choices this year, there is so much more at stake. State and local elections matter; these are the votes that affect you and those much less fortunate than you, and your vote really does count. Exercise the rights that people fought so hard for you to have. I hope all you US littens get out there and vote today if you haven't already.

RanaElizabeth Yes! Ballot measures especially are so important. And unfortunately, often written in ways to confuse the voter. Do your research and vote down-ticket! 8y
readordierachel @RanaElizabeth Yes, yes, yes! There are so many great voter guides out there (at least in CA and I assume in other states) to help folks wade through all the BS. 8y
