Still working slowly through King. Loving the Sense & Sensibility adaptation. Starting the audio today. Hope to start Margo today, too. On the Calculation is the only Booker International Longlist book my library has and I‘m trying not to buy new books. The Women‘s Prize Longlist drops the 4th and it may change all of the above 😂
You would think, since I'm not working, that my numbers for February would be higher, but the stress of not having a job has reeked havoc on my level of concentration. I've got some good interviews lined up this week, so I think March will be a much better month for me.

pickThe author says in the preface that the book should be accessible to anybody with a maths GCSE. Apparently a maths GCSE is more difficult than a maths O Level. I kept my head above water (I think) till Chapter 6 when we hit geometry, which was my downfall with school maths as well. I just skimmed Chapter 7 on estimates and approximations but re-surfaced with the FAQ in the final chapter, which was more about mathematicians than mathematics.

Just started The Fury, meh so far. Love being back with the Dashwoods in Sense & Sensibility. About half way through Miranda‘s memoir about living with chronic illness. Enjoying it! I loved her character in Call the Midwife and laughed so hard I cried when watching her sitcom. Next up audio will be The Wedding People.
