#hpchapteraday the boys' #isolation from one another is heartbreaking. Tears will be streaming down my face here if I'm ever fortunate enough to watch this performed on stage. This scene is moving because we've all felt isolated & alone. It makes me think what a difference we can make to one another by just reaching out to one another to say hi, to give a smile...what would these gestures from Albus have meant to Scorpius in this moment?
HotMessJess I cried both nights, for a solid 3 hours, about everything. I cried so hard when we finally picked up my tickets that the guys in the box office got choked up- I'd waited 532 days for that moment!! And I can't I even begin to describe the day my husband surprised me with tickets! That play was the highlight of my life!! I hope it stays on stage forever!! 7y
Redjewel_7734 @HotMessJess I so want to see it, but unless they have traveling version, I don't know if I'll ever get the chance. I hate this story & the what it does with my beloved characters, but I've heard the experience of this play is amazing & I so want that. I'm so jealous that you got to see it!!! 7y
HotMessJess I made it pretty clear to any of my potter loving friends that if they ruined the plot for me I'd never speak to them again! And no one did! The whole Potter universe did an amazing job of #keepingthesecrets... to be honest, I think I would've hated it if I read it before I saw it.... live theatre is my jam and there is NO show like The Cursed Child live. One scene still makes my heart skip a beat when I think about it! 7y

HotMessJess It truly is! Hermione was absolutely perfect, as well Scorpius (by far the best character). I cheered when Albus was sorted! My husband and I went to the first show after they swept the Oliviers and I pulled one of the ushers aside to ask him if it was that good of a performance ever day and he flat out said no. The electricity and passion in their performance was. Palpable. 7y
HotMessJess May the ticket gods bless you! Tuck waited in virtual line for 4ish hours all night the day they came out and we got so lucky!!! Albeit we waited for nearly two years to see it, but we made a 5 year anniversary out of the trip- worth it!! 7y
