I read this title for my #ballerinabookclub #isabellaboylston book club. I found this to be a wonderful historic read about the experiences of Daiyu a Chinese girl who‘s life is anything but easy as she finds her place in America during the 1800‘s. This book is both heartbreaking and uplifting. I feel this may be one of my favorite reads of this year.

So I follow #isabellaboylston who is a principle dancer with American Ballet Theater and she has her own book club that I participate in. Super fun and interesting reads. February‘s selection was this one and I LOVED it. High fantasy. Lots of action and amazing characters I love Zelie! Highly recommend this one! #readingchallenge2022 #ballerinabookclub
