If I were to use this book in the classroom, I would follow up with an activity giving students the opportunity to write their own memoirs.

Memoirs of a Goldfish is a funny story about a fish who gets overcrowded and isn‘t happy about it. The illustrations go along perfectly with the narration, and the bright colors add to the fun nature of the book. The story is written as a diary written by the fish which adds a unique aspect and perspective.
Higgins is hysterical. I was wrapping new books and had to pause and visit the #underthedustcover cover and then of course read the book. Higgins provides coloring pages! https://books.disney.com/book-author/ryan-t-higgins/#activiti...
After a very sad day for Ky politics (the bill banning gender-affirming care for transgender youth plus “don‘t say gay” in school plus some other sh.. was passed), I needed retail therapy. My kid clients love the Penelope T.Rex books, & I do, too. Plus, Gwenda Bond‘s latest & the 3rd in Manda Collins‘ mystery/romance series.
