I usually cheat when posting a #booksetinmycity by using San Francisco where I was born and still work, but I found this true crime 'gem' when I moved to Terra Linda a few years ago. The language is overblown and the descriptions of 1970s Marin County are stereotypical, borderline offensive, and comedic. But it's fun to have a nutty book about real murder set right around the corner 😁😵

Huh. Thought I would have read/owned more books set in LA, turns out I have not/don't. Think I'm going to have to fix that. I did read this one though, was ok.
