panI think I can safely say that I hated this book. It is not a book I would have chosen but I received it as part of the #bookhivebookclub so I felt compelled to finish it. This book could have been so much better, but instead, the author tried to write a 250 page version of a book that would have had to have been much longer to do justice to everything she attempted. Too much tragedy, not enough reality, no logic or explanation.
