Checkout this Kissing Booth novella if you want to know what happens next with Noah and Elle. Read the book and saw its film version last May. Will read Going The Distance before Kissing Booth 2 releases.

Read the book last Feb and just saw the film tonight. Out of the 37 books I read this year so far this one is on my top 5 picks. I enjoyed both versions📖🎬

It Ends With Us | Colleen Hoover

Can't wait for the film adaptation of It End With Us by Colleen Hoover. Justin Baldoni did very well with Five Feet Apart, I know this will be as good. One of my top reads in 2016.

Pickpick

The people going on and on about the audio are completely right, his voice is epic and dreamy. I love this story of Elio, angsty in his attraction to an older man staying with his family. If teenage love feels like life and death, this is magnified as he tries to understand and navigate his feelings. #bookbeforemovie

Lola He stars in the movie, too. 7y
ReadingEnvy @Lola yeah he plays Oliver. may he read many more audiobooks! 7y
Lola @ReadingEnvy And he has such an interesting background. Rabbit Hole... 🐰 7y

Pickpick

Ever since loving Stoner by John Williams, I have been on the hunt for more well written novels about small (but meaningful) lives. Kent Haruf does not disappoint and this brief examination of a friendship between an older man and woman was lovely. #bookbeforemovie

Tamra 👏🏾 I really enjoy Haruf! Along the same lines as Stoner, try (edited) 7y
ReadingEnvy @Tamra you know, I read that one but didn't connect to it very well. I wonder what is different! Another author I think of is Marilynne Robinson. 7y
Tamra @ReadingEnvy you know I haven't tried Robinson. I don't know why, maybe because she is so popular I think I might not like it??? Where should I start with her? Because Stoner is in my top 10!! (edited) 7y

BookNAround I loved this one. Simply beautiful. 7y
ReadingEnvy @Tamra I think the trio of books in order - Gilead, Home, Lila. 7y
Tamra @ReadingEnvy my bank account thanks you! 😉 I'll order the first. 7y
Skybariline Agreed. Watching the Netflix movie with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda, and it is lovely too. 7y
ReadingEnvy @Tamra they can be a slow burn but I think that's true about all of these really 7y
ReadingEnvy @Skybariline I'm hoping to watch it tomorrow. 7y
HardcoverHearts I have so much love for his book. It ripped me to shreds. 7y
BarbaraBB Along these line I can also recommend the tagged book. And all by Elisabeth Strout of course! 7y
Cathythoughts Oh I must have a look. I also really loved Stoner. It's a book & a man I often think of. Only read it a year ago & it has stayed with me. Thanks for this post 👍💕 (edited) 7y
ReadingEnvy @HardcoverHearts and add to that itcame out after he died... I just 😥 7y
ReadingEnvy @BarbaraBB yes Elisabeth Strout fits in here I think, although her characters aren't always as redeeming on the surface (but usually play out to be) 7y
ReadingEnvy @Cathythoughts stoner is really remarkable so it's no shock that we would look for more! 7y
Karlamia I loved Stoner so much! Could not get him and that book out of my mind. I'll try this one too. Thanks for the rec! 7y
