Not too bad for a children‘s book. A fair bit of bite sized information:)

Yes a kids book (didn‘t see that when I ordered it in) but it seems to cover a lot of vampires so……I‘m going to give it a go.
Unfortunately this one just didn‘t hit the right spot. Better to bail than dislike every second.
I loved this book. Loved the lore and the stories I hasn‘t heard before like the night that won‘t decompose….
I hear he has written many other books so I think I might need to have a good look!
I finished this last night. I liked the writing, and the storytelling was interesting. I just didn't enjoy this as much as I expected. I did finish it, so that says something.
Current read. I picked this up on a whim a number of years ago and loved it. Later I found out it was part of a series but the original edition I bought made no mention of that. Rereading and enjoying it all over again. #Halloween
“Across the room, Rosemary gasped. She ran toward father.
'No! No, please,' she begged. 'Not my daughter!'
Quick as a flash, Mother crossed the room. She held Rosemary back, laughing cruelly. 'You little fool, the moment you came here, both of your children belonged to the house of Dracul.'“
It's heartbreaking to see the moment when Rosemary realizes she's not only damned her own soul, but those of BOTH of her children as well...
Time to begin book 2. I love that my first autumn books were Dracula theme/based/etc. Makes my gothic little heart so happy!
