Soft pick, since I prefer Nothombs original stories over the biographical ones. But it's still Amelie Nothomb and I do have a very soft spot for her. She's an autobuy, whatever she writes. Actually, this is a very personal book, since she writes the life story of her father. I was surprised to find out that you can visit the place belonging to her family (where the first half of the book is set as well). Maybe I should go there at some point...
