#CoverLove #Gray published in the 90s, I use it as a reference, I refer to it when I read about movements or organizations . Everything from ACLU , American Indian Movement, Black Panthers , American Nazi Party, & more . Enlightening, definitely not fun.

I loved “More Perfect”. The characters are complicated and so are their motivations. There are real stakes and costs. The technology is both frightening and exhilarating. Just a great read.
Books I read in June plus ebook of The Palestine Laboratory
I finished Titanium Noir in a day, so I decided to take on this #chunkster It‘s definitely slower reading, but I‘m intrigued enough to continue!

NARRATOR: Marin Ireland
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬⇩
-It doesn‘t get too techy-Cat and mouse antics.
-It‘s fascinating how much they underestimate the librarian.
-Overall, I was engaged throughout most of the story.
-A fantastic narrator
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬⇩
-Some people found it repetitive…but, it wasn‘t an issue for me.
-It was often quite noticeable that a man wrote the female protagonist.
-There are a significant amount of implausible elements, but I just went with it.
This book (sequel to Eggers' The Circle) took me a looong time to finish. It's a dystopian story that imagines a world where Meta and Amazon become this massive tech monopoly and take over surveillance, medicine, consumption, and basically every aspect of one's life. The amount of tech advancements described in the book was a bit overwhelming, but also mirrors reality in a sense. I don't know, I just had a hard time with this one.
As I was taking this photo on my porch, two moms walking their kids home from the school near my house started screaming profanities at each other. One accused the other of not loving their child for not doing the fun run correctly, to which the other responded, "Suck a fat d*** you c***". ???
