pickThis... was a quick read for me.
I like how the charachters both grow and there are a few unexpected turns that I liked.
the only thing I did not really love was how the book makes it feel romantic when a love interest is rude and disrespectfull. I get why it makes sense in the story yet i did feel slightly of when reading those parts.
Still a good read and excited for the other books!

pickBook 37 of 2025! This book did not need to be 539 pages long, but I still enjoyed this dark M/M romance from Rina Kent. Not the best writing in the world, but somehow I still got sucked in to the story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The first one of the series… I would say this book is addictive in the sense that once you‘ve finished one chapter, you want to quickly get through the next one. The book overall leans heavy on drama, obsession, and emotional tension ❄️🩵
There was a cupcake decorating program the other day at the library, and we were lucky enough to get all the extras! 🤤🧁 They were almost too pretty to eat! Well, ALMOST! 🤭
