This book would be a great read for any primary grade level! You can use this book to teach children the importance of protecting our environment and advocating for others/animals around the world.
I loved reading this book and looking through the amazing illustrations. The journey of Jane Goodall's life dedicated to saving chimps shows great courage. As your reading children will love to point out details hidden within the pages, most specifically chimps hidden in the trees. Amazing story for young children!
And this looks like the perfect cozy spot to read. #CharactersReading
Such a fun illustration! I always enjoy when characters are reading their own book in the book! 😄 #CharactersReading
“Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help shall all be saved.“
Jeanette Winter's 'The Watcher' offers a captivating glimpse into the life of Jane Goodall and her groundbreaking work with chimpanzees. With beautiful illustrations, it instills a sense of wonder for nature and the importance of conservation. This book is a valuable resource for teaching about animal behavior, conservation, and the impact of individual actions.
4 ⭐ This is a nice biography about a man who always asked “Why”. Why do ants not get lost? Can bees see in color? Can a cockroach learn? It is by asking questions and studying the animals that scientific knowledge is gained. Charles Henry Turner was a man of his time, whose constant questioning led to many scientific discoveries.
