I‘ve finally started reading the last (but definitely not least!) book in my #NewReleaseMadness TBR!! Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi (released March 27, 2018) is the first in a new middle grade series based on Hindu mythology, in a similar vein of fun and humor as Rick Riordan‘s many mythology series (Percy Jackson and the Olympians etc.). Only a few chapters in and already I‘m having a blast!

And now for something completely different...The fourth book in my #NewReleaseMadness TBR is The Wild Robot Escapes (released March 13, 2018), the sequel to Peter Brown‘s The Wild Robot—possibly the most heartwarming story ever written about a robot. Although I mostly read ebooks these days (running out of space reasons), I had to get this in hardcover for the gorgeous illustrations. Yaaaay!!! I have really been looking forward to this.

The Night Diary | Veera Hiranandani

Finally starting the third book in my #NewReleaseMadness TBR, Veera Hiranandani‘s The Night Diary (released March 6, 2018). I‘m super excited about this one, as I love epistolary novels, and even more because as a half Asian I‘m intentionally seeking out books by Asian authors this year. Also, I am interested in learning about the 1947 Partition of India. So this book hits a lot of great notes for me!

My #NewReleaseMadness continues—a month-long streak of new releases I want to read coming out every single week, woo-hoo! But the first new release on my TBR was over 500 pages sooo I am now three books behind already. 😓 Anyway, I‘m finally going to start my second new release, Last Dragon Standing—the finale to Rachel Aaron‘s super fun dragon family drama series (released March 1, 2018). Eeeee!

Tess of the Road | Rachel Hartman

Almost every year there‘s about a one-month period in which a new book I want to read releases every single week. I call it #NewReleaseMadness because it‘s so crazy and fun! The timing is a little different each year, but in 2018 my #NewReleaseMadness started yesterday with the release of Rachel Hartman‘s Tess of the Road. I loooved her first duology (Seraphina and ShadowScale), so I am really excited about this one! Let the madness begin!! 📚✨
