pickSometimes it‘s a wonder anyone actually believes some of this stuff anymore, but ideas die hard. Outside of all of these myths obviously being highly prejudicial (racist and paternalistic to the extreme), it was interesting to read about the scholarship and evidence that refutes each one. I knew each myth was just that - a myth - but I wasn‘t always aware of the scholarship or evidence behind them. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
GingerAntics I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, but perhaps most especially to the historians propagating these myths in their textbooks.
