so-soLike @Cinfhen said, this book suffered from a disorganized structure. I enjoyed a lot of the parts - reading more about famous professional kitchens and learning about homesteading - but the whole book is less than the sum of its individual stories.
The more squeamish parts of homesteading (graphic meat, animal control) wasn‘t as weird for me because I know people who live that lifestyle.
